    This poll thread will bring into discussion the castle siege event mechanics when it comes to alliance damage.

    By default, characters damage is adjusted during castle siege event as it follows:
    This means any aoe spell will inflict 20% damage to ally members. Although this is an original setting that castle siege always used we decided to create an informative poll to see some opinions about it so cast your vote and reply in this thread.

    This setting has been set back to default so the alliance members can be able to cancel the sleep effect of the summoners through damage. We'll stick to the original event settings.

    Default works for me , because ur going at CS as a team , so u should be able to coordonate ur moves/atacks in order not to dmg ur own team mates.
    And i think that makes the diference between a good player and a newbie , to know when to atack or to avoid beeing hit by other , not just spamming some AOE spells.

    Easy to say when you are BK or Summoner. Try this: "know when to attack or to avoid beeing git by other, not just spamming some AOE spells", when you are SM (when you have only 2 spells which actually do dmg, and its ice storm and decay) or elf with multi shot... It doesnt make any of us good player or newbie

    Bk and summoners also have aoe skills, each class has it's pros and cons.

    i agree with Jucato, almost all the SM spels are AOE.

    Are you sure they don't hate you and did it on purpose? :D

    Anyways I guess we can give the "no damage" option a go for this sunday's castle siege and then we'll have some legit feedback.

    Hey guys , i was not talkin about sm at all to be honest :)) , as for me sm is not the one who is suposed to do dmg in CS but to help hes mates with MS and to move the enemy out from the switches square , my real concern about this seting is the DL , just imagine how laggy it gets if 2-3 dl`s start atacking with Chaotic skill.. , some pc`s can really burn xD

    Imagine that even on gmo it lags like hell, I guess webzen devs were drunk when they implemented that skill.

    default setting would be great, we wont see few strong people blocking last gate or bridge with spamming their aoe attacks, no damage is better for me and in general i think but if it will be 20% dmg no one will spam with their skills non stop like a group of people and it will be more fair sollution for a greater castle siege.

    I just realised something , u seriously cant do the setting to NO DAMAGE , why ?
    Think about summoners sleep , how would someone wake u up by atacking u when he cant dmg u ?

    This is about damaging alliance members with aoe skills, you should still be able to hit them with CTRL, not sure about the damage though but as I said we'll give it a try on the coming cs and then get some feedback if we keep it or not.
