Working on the new update

As the title says, I'm almost done implementing the new update.



- instead of automatically updating the db with the tool provided by the coders team, I did it manually so we won't have any surprises
- all weapon skills are fixed (FallingSlash, Lunge, Uppercut, Cyclone, Slash, Dinorant, Impale)
- new formulas added for different skills
- rf aoe fixed
- dinorant skill is also fixed and will be added back
- nova dmg bug is fixed and will be added back
- crywolf loot fixed and will be added back
- doppleganger event modified and working as on official server (monster waves rush to the gate and if 3 of them passes, even fails)
- trivia event added
- race event corrected
- lottery event added
- automated ingame rank system (best killer, best hero, most levels in a week, most zen, most vip days, etc)
- automated ingame NPC reward for all the custom events
- other different corrections or fixes that I have missed mentioning here

The update will be added when we'll migrate the server to a new host in Europe, on the best possible bandwidth, lowest latency, using fully SSD's and tcp accelerator technology for everyone outside EU.

Expected ping for EU players 1 - 50ms (depends on your internet connection as well)
Expected ping for non-EU players 30 - 60ms (depends on your internet connection as well) ( ping is 40-120 ms without TCP accelerator technology)

So yea, there are a lot of good news coming that will please all our players when they get back from vacantion since everyone is pretty much away right now.

When is this going to be completed? As soon as our new servers are delivered so that's in the next few days.

The update were into our hands for quite a while but due to some prior personal problems I just couldn't apply it before but I'm good now and ready to bring in new fixes and features.

Expect a planned maintenance and a downtime of 1-2 hours once we're ready. We will announce you all before this, as always.

 

While I was typing this messages just received an email saying that our new dedicated servers have been activated.

I'll have to optimize them all first, update the OS (on those using windows since linux doesn't needs that), optimize windows ones for SSD, reinstalling OS's and configuring RAID as I want. This means that the update will be made this week.

I don't really get your question on the combo but let's keep it ontopic and not offtopic. PM me with an example video if so.

 

Haven't checked that DARKSEID but we shall see. I'll be working pretty much all day (as soon as I wake up) on finishing implementing the update.

Installed everything that's needed on the new server and I'm excited as everything moves superfast so it's going to be ready this weekend.
