Solved Socket items

That is correct, you need to hunt dark mobs from La Cleon (dark iron knight, mammoth, giant, collution).

 

He asked about La Cleon mobs, obviously they can be obtained from events too, with a higher chance. Also there is more than dark mammoth so check out the other mobs.
@Extazy, there is no separate drop rate for dark mobs, it's the same global rate for items and socketed items just that there are no spots for those type of mobs.

 

@ilegal87 you don't have to be rude with others just because they mentioned a known fact or beacuse they have more time. And I can't see why someone having a family or a job wouldn't be able to hunt for the items like everyone else, otherwise I suppose no one with a family and a job would ever be able to play games anymore, right? If you don't have any time for this game besides afking then don't expect to get the same results as someone who is active by doing regular events and hunting and if you are overbusy then you can always buy those items/set parts from them.

We don't plan on adding full dark mobs spots similar to the regular monsters spots just so people can afk for complete full socketed sets, not even the x9999 servers aren't that ridicuously easy, besides the fact that obtained exp is way too high for such monsters to have spots and there are plenty of them available to be hunted. If you want complete full socketed sets then you have to do something else besides afk-ing all day otherwise this game won't have any advantage for the active players over afkers. If you don't want to hunt for the dark mobs around the map then participate to events like selupan, medusa, etc because that's the main source not regular monsters or the easiest way for those who want to afk 24/7 is to buy the missing parts from those who are more active than you are and have them already. Not sure who launched this wrong idea but La cleon map and it's monsters isn't supposed to be the place where you can complete a full socketed set by afking alone, there has to be some effort involved into this game too besides afking all day long, the game is already so automated with all the botting features that webzen added, there has to be some grinding involved too just like any other server and online game.

The game has predefined drops from monsters and webzen made them that way, it makes no sense on rewriting the game just to add a whole set to drop from a single regular monster that's not even a boss. Different monsters drop different sets parts and items, there isn't a single regular monster in this game (no bosses included) that drops all items to form a complete set.

If you would look better you'll see that there are places in La Cleon where dark mobs spawn pretty close to each other and while by default they have a higher regen time compared to regular mobs, there are plenty of them and you can still do afk hunting but not as you would do on a normal spot. Also keep in mind that when people hunt and kill the dark mobs, monstersbase is reloaded or server is restarted, they respawn in their original position so you have a better chance of hunting more and close to each other placed mobs when this happens unlike leaving monsters to move around the map with their default range of 30 so I suggest doing a map raid first.
