That glitch was only random and caused due to reloading monsters on a live server, most dopples were still ok . As long as this happend to you around min. 4 then you either lagged, didn't saw them or you were not paying attention. Just in case you have multiple invitations, allow a few minutes between entering a new doppleganger and don't join too fast.

Make a video next time and post the link here as I just did a doppleganger 10 minutes ago and had no issues.

I know for a fact that some of you were rushing to the end of the map where monsters spawn when we used to run S6 and back in the old days this event wasn't working correctly on private servers as it was on the official one. Check my map position and try to stay in the middle if you're running solo, not at the very top of it.

 

And you're saying that because of the changed terrain? You need to get familiar with the game mechanics in this case as it's the same event and we were in the exact same stage (5) just different days.
Terrains change depending on the day not on your level, same as for the imperial event. The event remains the same no matter the class, it's the chest drop rate and monsters attributes multiplier that change depending on the character level. By the way I asked about videos not screenshots for a reason, it's a two buttons task to do with the free softwares over the internet.

Kinda offtopic as we're not talking about the reward here but the golden chest drops 5-7 items and for your knowledge, the default drop rate of the event is much much smaller than we set it here and normally the highest level you are, the lowest the chest drop rate you get and the reward is different too. We might continue to adjust rates on a later date but keep in mind that it's a 0 min. cooldown event, invitations drop is good enough too so don't expect to be loaded with items after a few runes.

 

Imperial and doppleganger are two different events though, different ingredients drop, mechanics, drop rate formulas and so on.

Anyways to keep this thread clean those who wish to provide us some reports get a free software like fraps or free cam recorder and open a new conversation with me with the video link and exact date, time and server you did this event so I can investigate. I cannot find a pattern into screenshots to replicate it as I've tried with different classes and different levels so far, it might be related to the fact that more people join at that time into the event or not a glitch after all so I'll need videos that include the whole event up to the point it fails.
