plz help can't connect

iv downloaded blizzard mu and then i had let it update, but when i try to start it won't connect. the loading screen pops up for a millisecond and then disappears no error msg or anything after tht.i would like to try this low rate server and some help will be appreciated

 

Hmm. I've experienced this very same problem quite a few times as well, unfortunately haven't found any fix yet.

Try disabling your Anti-virus and firewall and also try re-installing the game. Some files may be corrupted, also try to manually download the patches after re-installing.

 

i tryed all of those to no avail.

 

i got the same problem on this pc ....havent found a way to fix it yet.

i assume you are using desktop with windows vista/7 as operating system,right?

It's such a weird problem..

Try running it on different compatibility modes.

 

ya im running vista lol but i don't its cause of tht. iv tryed changing compability and still same problem.I had tryed DiabloMu the high rate server hosted here without a problem.Im thinking it is file related.R u guys able to play fine without a problem?

reinstalled for the 4th time thru the last no sound client mirror i havnt tryed to no avail. i was wondering if one of u guys can upload ur main.exe preferably the admin if possible.

 

its not main problem,its something on your side.


ive tested loads of things ranging from compatibility mode to altering myoperating system to be alike win98 and so on.

ill try once more if i have time but it seems blizmu just doesnt open on some pcs


note:dmu runs fine on that pc

 

Well if you want the game to run in your computer, then I would suggest you using a virtual machine, such as VMware or virtualbox. Install xp in it for example, and run the game. That's pretty much the last resort in this case.

 

i did some investigating thru google and im starting to think the problem involves the graphic card.i probably should have put this up earlier but my specs r

what do u mean by correct display? if u mean my driver matches the chip in the computer then ya

 

You could try loading the latest ATI drivers from their website to see if anything happens.

 

SUCCESS i got the dam thing to finally work. it turns out it was a graphics problem after all. after updating my drivers from the AMD website i was able to get to the loading screen and now the game works fine for now. thank you all for the help. hope this post becomes useful to anyone else who gets the same problem.
