Planned Maintenance - Sunday 20 March 2011

Dear BlizzardMU Players,

A planned maintenance will take place tomorrow ( Sunday 20 March 2011 ) around 3:00 - 4:00 PM Server Time.

The maintenance should take a couple of minutes up to 30 -50 minutes at max.

 

Maintenance completed. It took about 20-30 minutes

Servers are Online

 

There will be another short maintenance due to a node problem that needs some equipment replacements to avoid some further problems.

It should last a couple of minutes but the time is unknown ... should happen today though

 

we don't know yet. If it's gonna happen during CS we'll either postpone it for tomorrow or as soon as maintenance is done. won't take long as i've said

 

seems the guys are preparing the maintenance. the server is online, the castle siege should be at 7:15 PM (delayed a bit) but can't guarantee you'll be able to play till the end if they start working and replacing the equipments si understand the situation and be patient


Should we postponed it after maintenance ? I still don't know exactly when it should really start ... they first replace some equips of other servers then our turn will come so this either happen in few min, hours or even tomorrow.


I've already changed the cs time to 7:15 PM, though it isn't recommended to do that


PS: Those reding announce ingame the players through post as well...i don't wanna see anyone screaming or posting such things "omg srv down?" w/o reading the news.


This action needs to be done so we can avoid any crashes, or future stability problems and ofc it's the datacenter decision anyway

The planned equipment replacement will be tomorrow (21 March) around 11:00 PM - 12:00 PM GTM+2

yea so it happend faster? is there a problem or what?

Btw maintenance finished aroud 30 minutes ago, servers are online.

Website will have the sql connection closed for some time, we're working on updating some scripts. Also new features have been enabled, we'll add a news title as soon as we are done with the website

 

thats because we set up things for the new node

Everything is back on track now, all features that were announced are enabled. Read the news in the next 5-10 min
