have u tried restarting ur computer, and reconnecting ur internet connection?

it has nothing to do with the internet activity (sent packets can sometimes be smaller then received ones, but it causes no problems)

this is my current activity and as u can see i have double received, and i have no problems at all

yeah i know a little bit about fixing my internet...but my "received" not my sent are larger...

    example

    sent 1,000,000
    received 40,000,000

that may be exaggerating it a little bit...but it is causing a major slow down for me on both the internet and in the game...no virus was found...i have tried restarting my computer and rebooting my connection...but nothing seems to be working...i am trying a couple things...any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

    now i understand,

first of all u are mistaking! ur received are SMALLER not larger, smaller=short, large=bigger, and if the difference is as big as u say, it could simply be a problem of ur internet provider that may as well be solved on its own, try giving it some time

received is always bigger than sent...do a thorough scan with your antivirus, you might have some addware virus, or, like exi said, it might be a ISP issue...in that case you need to tell them about it :)

    2 reasons

    1. adware/spyware/virus

    2. flood

Solution .... contact your company after you cleaned your whole PC (ofc if this continues)

well i'm pretty sure it isn't a virus...i've scanned my computer several times with different virus/adware/spyware scanners...and none of them picked up anything...is there a way i could figure out if it is a flood or not without calling my internet provider?

try a firewall like sygate (is the same firewall that alot of mu servers use) that can block the flood and junk and let you know if someone floods but is preety hard to configurate, if you can`t make the settings right even your internet conection will be off =)) =))
