main.exe has stopped working

Hello, i haven't played for months and i wanna play again but.. i always get this issue when i open BlizzardMu.exe and click start...
I have tried shutting down firewall and antivirus but it didn't help

Yes.. i have windows 7

 

1. I click on BlizzardMu.exe
2. I click start game
3. Game freezes with message "main.exe has stopped working" and i can't see loading screen

I have Windows 7 64bit
Avast

and I tried DEP, but the main.exe didn't start at all lol

 

(right-click>Properties>Compatibility)Set the compatibility for main.exe and launcher.exe to XP/Sp2, and check the Run as Administrator box below for both of them.

try downloading the patch for version 8 yourself and putting it into the folder...you probably have bugged main from v7 update...so try that and let us know

If no firewall is blocking the "main.exe" and you have tryed everything posted here then the problem is most likely from your OS. Try fully reinstalling the client from the recommended full kit: http://blizzardmu.com/index.php?page_id=downloads

Problem was in my antivirus.. so I just uninstalled avast and now it works

So in the end the antivirus firewall was blocking the game. You were asked this previously and you said it wasnt. Next time check everything we say.

 

Actually, it doesnt work.. I tested with my brother's laptop and it worked but doesnt work with my PC.. I deleted avast but I still get "main.exe has stopped working" omfg :cursing:
