Dropping exc when killed....

Wondering why its possible to drop your exc items when you die is this a bug...cause i have never seen this happen anywhere else...even back on gmo..

i just lost my vine armor+dsr+lk when i died

 

I have noticed the same thing

This is not a good thing. It keeps players of high maps. If while leveling/hunting there is a chance i lose my exc items that i am wearing then i stay off the high maps. This needs to be fixed. I think that dropping non-exc items that are +6 of lower (like on GMO) upon death is fair, but droping my hard worked items is not a fair thing.

 

Another nob ... fast ... "i have never seen this happen anywhere else... even back on gmo" :screwy: ...this is not gmo...

And 80% of mmorpg games... are maked like this....your items drop when u are killed... in mob hunt...in pvp or something... u have google for stupid questions

Item drop when you die, it's a original setting... but if you play only big exp you will never see because you will have items +9 or for big lvl to fast...

Oh and i think that...when you are phono ... the rate of ur exc items to drop from you ...its increased eace:

but it's just annoying, when your afk and someone jerk comes and pk's you, making you drop your best item. which is not fair?

as crus said, you've worked hard for those items, it would be fair if you dropped +6 under.

 

i believe items only drop if you are phono when you get killed,otherwise you're safe

tho im not 100% sure so you might wanna wait till sephi confirms this.

i don't know if here it's work... but normaly when u are phono ...ur exp is lower that normal, or exc items can drop from you, and thins will make player not pk-ing for fun or for a spot...

And normaly when u are hero ..needs to be a reward... (exp faster... or killing faster .. don't know... and i`m to tired for google it) ->search for bassics guide for mu online ... :weee:

Actually, no. Exc items should never drop.
Plus, there is a 4% chance of dropping something when you are a commoner, only when you are a hero, your items do not drop at all.


Anything that is considered a "valuable item" (+7 items, wings, exc items) all fall into the same catagory and should never drop. It has nothing to do with a items level, it is by their value. Although, items +7 do fall in this catagory.

 

i've seen +12 items drop

 

yeah today before CS my bk got killed and +12 dropped...talked to sephi...and he said he would be testing it and letting us know

 

your bk was a 2 time killer , he was a murderer if i am correct .
So that's normal to drop your stuff.

 

I second this. Never in the 5 years of playing GMO I saw no exc/wings nor items considered as valuable dropping. If I reckon normal items, which include all non exc etc could drop way back in the beginning of GMO, but they soon applied a patch which made items above +6 undroppable

Only exception was DL's horse and raven and if my weak memory doesn't betray me, cape could drop too.

 

in the couple years i played there nothing like this happened either...even if you were pk status

it could be set up like this on purpose...but that would make it so noone turns pk unless they have a + whatever set...so that it won't drop

and now i've had 3 items drop...all that would be considered valuable

celestial bow+1+sk+lk+mana/8
vine armor+lk+dsr
scale boots+12+0

hopefully this is fixed or it is explained why this stuff can drop...because this doesn't make any sense to me...

to explain why destiny dropped the celestial bow +L+mana was becuase he was 2nd degree murderer , which means it is normal to drop , on global phonomaniacs muderers would drop their items all the time .
And destiny lost his items all the time he was 2nd degree murderer , and phonomaniac .

 

read what combo posted...and i have said multiple times i was pk status...so why you need to reply with such a useless post when it had already been said multiple times

 

this question you just asked me is like the chicken and the egg.Because you are complaining about dropping your exc items , even on GMO you drop items if you are 2nd degree murderer . I find it fair since i don't pk players, but i can kill you and make you drop your nice celestial bow after having pked me, only because you are a murderer now , and teach you to stop doing it , otherwise you will go on pk frenzies and pk all the new players and i don't want you scaring the new comers .
Admin should keep it at this rate, i have been pked lots of times and i didn;t lose nothing since i am not a pker.

 

but losing wings...as Trippy did tonight...that just doesn't make any sense...if you can drop 1st wings...then it could be possible to drop 2nd and 3rd... in my opinion it should be turned off not because of just dropping the items but because you work hard for something and because of 2 people you kill you can drop anything you have...whether it is exc or not...

 

in this case the wings should be returned ,my 2 cents.
