Crashing still?

I talked with several players in game and they have recently been experiencing crashes for no reason (myself, Philosofo, Cipidrynka (has diff char as main) ...like back before the update ( http://blizzardmu.com/index.php?page_id=news&iN=4ef5f72252d83#news-4ef5f72252d83 ) and like you said here about restoring MSB...could restoring the MSB or anything that was done recently have affected the server and causing people to get random crashes?

Everything was running and smooth right after that patch v8 but then within last 1-2 weeks it seems like i get crashes every 3-4 or 8-9 hours (and i have timed it sadly enough )

Could you please check into this for us?

Can't wait for 1 year ...i'm the only one left from when it launched

 

No Sh*t !.. I've been experiencing this alot. Its hard to AFK when i go bed/sleep becoz everytime i get up in the morning the game isnt on anymore.. >_< waste of my power.

 

gone for 2.5 hours just now...and crashed about 1 hour in...

 

just the client for me closes whether i am using integrated bot or not...sometimes when i move to noria and walk towards vault main just closes, and not hidden with F12...not sure what it is but i guess i'll just have to live with it if you didn't change anything

game just closes itself without any error's or message whatsoever
doesnt seem too long since it started happening
but the most odd thing is that nothing was changed and alot of people get crashes :/

 

i even redownloaded client and reinstalled the v8 patch and still getting it...so something changed somehow ^_^

it seems to happen no matter what ya do...sephi could you make some change to server so we need to update files...and see if that fixes it?

i leave my character afk in town for 2.5 hours earlier today and get crash...3 hours tonight with bot on and crash...so it has to be something with client or with server for why i get crashes...and why everyone else is experiencing it too

 

1 hour in swamp and crash...

1 thing i did notice that changed was after vault closures (for obvious reasons) no drops of death cow rings anymore (or any disguise rings for that matter) and all the crashing started again...maybe sephi you could check into those and see if those could be the cause somehow?

ChuCk, a friend of mine, was talking with me, when he's client crashed (like happens to everbody) .. but in that moment he had 3 clients opened, and just one of those crashed.

i've had it do same thing but then again when i open 2...both will crash...with 3 only 1 with 1 only 1 crashes...i don't think it has anything to do with the amount of clients opened i had 4 open when the update to fix crashes was updated and nothing crashed that way

so in my opinion...just like i told sephi on TS3 it has to be something that accidentally updated in server that is causing it (anticheat or something in server)

 

It started about a month ago now...it worked for a couple weeks after the patch v8...i was able to afk with 3-4 clients opened and no crashes...then it started like i said

Literally it is crashing at random points no matter what we do (walking in noria, devias, afking in swamp, aida etc) there isn't anything i have done continuously before the crash so really nothing to narrow it down

It happens on Mozzie or Human or Pure...it isn't just 1 account that always crashes...its any of mine...but yet it does crash...one thing i noticed now though...

i redownloaded the full client with sound and music...and was actually able to afk with 1 client over night but then came online warped to noria and walked toward vault and crashed before i got to it...so i don't know ... it really is completely random

 

Can be just me, but I got a lot of crashes when typing "Enter" to send a message. Usually people receive it, even though my client closes before I can saw the message sent on the chat.

Hello guys! Long time no see...
I was experiencing these problems even in the old times, before all those v7s and 8s. I always considered 2 possibilities:
a) Operation system-in my case Win7 Home Premium Edition 64bit. Maybe if you all use the same OS, it might be because of the compatibility. I had a little thing (which i thought helped a bit=less crashes). Try to open IE (didnt test with other browser programs) and just leave it minimized on your task bar with any website opened. I know it sounds like some folklore, but as i said-i felt it improved the crashing.

b) This problem has been pointed out by Terra(also before the updates i think). The client which this server is using consumes loooooads of RAM memory in time. So depending on your RAM (only 1GB in my case) the crashes occure in some periodical sequences or when you force the client to send more files into a "filled memory" (might explain Kratoses crashes while walking to vault-new town/music/effects/mobs to load). And im afraid this wont change till new client files replace these dodgy ones (this is not a propaganda).

yeah i remember terra pointing that out in my other thread...funny thing is my better laptop that is in for repairs cause of its battery was getting alot of crashes...but the one i'm using now with lower ram is not getting any crashes...been able to be online for 48 hours so far without it a crash...so ram doesn't seem to be a problem...and both laptops both have the same operating system as you stated so like i have said in the past...i think it might be something that has been updated or is a corrupted file that is partially corrupted and causes crash at random intervals

 

Okay, so about 10 minutes ago me and another person got crash at same time. Myself (Wisconsin, USA) and Hector (Guam) both received a crash at the same time so it seems like it would have something to do with the server otherwise it was a great coincidence that we both got the crash at the same time...

I was sitting in noria, not moving or anything...just simply standing in a spot, not typing either and game just crashed and closed

Hector was hunting mobs in kanturu 2 while chatting with me...

Myself and a few others have noticed that when pressing the "Enter" key is when most of the crashing occurs...

If you could take a look at whatever the possible problem could be it would be greatly appreciated!
