Connecting to Server

i download the client and the patch (No 3D). I install the client first then copy paste the patch after....everything's working fine until i select my character....After selecting my character and connecting to the server it just froze like that...it wont let me in the server...ok before saying my PC sucks i already played different Mu(with two windows) and (ragnarok) server and it's working perfectly fine....

I re -install both the client and patch by the way and it's still the same...I really want to play here since this server gives the right amount of exp and drops( it even give 2000 freakin points to get new players started) so if can anyone help me i would really appreciate it...

 

Uninstall, install again, without applying the no 3d patch. We are here to help.
Mu is made for low requirements, so it should work fine on 95% of the computers. The 3d made the game load a bit harder, but it can still be playable even on a pentium 3 with 256 ram.

 

Still didnt work...is there anymore way??? by the way i always try to log in server 1......

Any firewalls? Antivirus? Blocked ports?

hehe ohh i never open my firewall so it's always off all the time( you know what i mean when you visit "those" websites)....

thanks for helping..this is one of the best server there are so it really hurts to leave cause of not being able to connect....thanks ....

 

We are sorry too.. but I have downloaded the first version, installed and it worked for me... also other players. There is one las thing you can do... apply diablo patch over another season 2 client.
If that doesn't work either ... then it's not our fault.

haha sorry sorry...i just couldnt leave this new server i found....i tried connecting today and i got in server 2 without problem lolz...i think my connection is pretty messed up at night...thanks for all the help...

Ok for Future reference this is what i did......

Download No 3d Client save in folder (example: New Folder 1)
Download No 3d Patch save in same folder (New Folder 1)
Install No 3d Client and be sure that the output(destination of file) is the same folder(New Folder 1)
Install No 3d Patch and be sure that the output is the same folder as 3d client (New Folder 1)
Open the No 3d patch that you install(you should see the file in a different folder)and "select all" then "copy"
Open the No 3d Client Folder that you install(you should see the file in a different folder)
then open the folder and "paste"

that should fix the problem of freezing window after picking the character...
