BlizzardMu.exe & Main.exe problems

    Hello everyone.

    When I first downloaded the game, installed it. Then my firewall asked for permission to connect. (nothing wrong here I think, no install errors)

    Then tried BlizzardMu.exe and got the message: "BlizzardMu Launcher has stopped working"

    I've tried running it as a Administrator, and with compatibility mode for WinXP SP2. Without any sucess.

    Since then I'm using Main.exe running as Administrator + compability for WinXP. I can only play that way.

    But when I downloaded the patch and applied it to the game, I can't even run the Main.exe.

    System info:
    Win Vista SP1 (UAC disabled)
    Avast
    Spybot
    Zone Alarm

    Any help would be welcome.

    When you click the main.exe, the launcher will show up. What happens when you click START GAME ?

    Also have you tried to turn off antivirus/firewall and try again ?

    Vista will always be a real pain for all games. I don't understand why you guys still use the OS that eats the most resources ever

    When I click the Main.exe the game just pop-up, start the loading screen and after it loads, the "select server" screen take place.

    I've never pressed any "start game", I'm quite sure.

    I'm playing with the old setup, so its not my firewall. And I've turning off my anti-virus + anti-spyware and tried again ... but nothing changes. (the game is not sand-boxed)

    The launcher uses .NET Framework? Or Java maybe? (don't have them updated right now)

    Anyway, thanks for the help.

    Using the old setup/install I can open the Main.exe and the game just pop-up.

    But if I try to update it with the patch, even the Main.exe (as Administrator + WinXP compability) don't open and I got "Main.exe has stopped working" message.

    My DEP is set only to windows programs only.

    About the Fix GameCrash, is there any issues with Spybot Serch&Destroy? Because my Avast anti-virus is set to not scan BlizzardMu folder.

    I have some great news, since the last update, when I manually aplied the patch to my folder, now I can open the BlizzardMu.exe with no problems!

    So now, I can even use the "Insert auto-click", instead of the old one.

    I must say, thanks for all the help here, and really great job Seph.
