xSCARFACEx and Nokilkenny banned 2 days for inadequate language!

 

for what word did i receive ban? "dumba$$" is censored...and i've seen people before not getting banned for "stupid" and "noob"

 

censored doesnt mean that u didnt intended to offend somebody!

 

i accept the punishment but if you say something like that...

couldn't that mean someone could report something that they believe is offending them as a person? like noob or stupid or something that is not inadequate language...although it would require you guys (admins) to do some more work on top of what you already do...maybe make a list of what is inadequate language...both censored/uncensored words so that we as a community know what is inadequate in your perspective...because according to the rules...any insulting words should be taken into account...i.e. dumb, stupid, noob, etc....just my point of view when you say something like that...and what the rule says...but yet as i have seen earlier "noob" and "dumb" are not considered insulting...but account to the rules they should be treated as that and the person should receive a ban...

 

if u say noob to a player just passing by, for the only reason that he looks noobish is not punishable, because noob= newbie

BUT... when u use it in other contexts, like on post to annoy someone, or to bad-mouth somebody is punishable. In ure case now the intention is obvoius, clearly rude and offending!

 

but how can you tell for that type of situation with the "noob (newbie)" the context in which the person is using the word...either in what you said or he wanted "to annoy someone, or to bad-mouth somebody" how can you tell in which way he meant?
