website....

..well..i know you have spent a lot of time building the website but currently its so slow it probably scares away half of the new visitors


so im suggesting either re-coding it,simplifying it,making a whole new website(thats an option too since its new season) or just a separate site for registering and account management


actually one of the basic rules when maing website is to never ever make index page slow to load

 

Dont know if 7 sec is too slow...

i dont know if u played on season4, but this is an entirely different site...

 

i did and i know its a bit different but i was referring to the index page,its identical

@sephiroth:they have to register first and if the site crashes several times when they are trying to register i doubt they have the nerves to try again and again


and just like i said,from website builer's view the site needs some tinkering coz its perfect example of good site gone wrong

one MAJOR rule.Never.Ever.Make.The.Index.To.Load.Slowly.

 

yeah its slow,but i know its sort of hard to fix it,ive build my share of sites.
i still remember the 2hours it toke me to sign up tot his server tho,well worth it xD
other problems back then in s3 tho,not the lag.
