Rivalities

Hello all,
i would like to bring in the discussion the rivalries between the alliances. There is nothing wrong in having rivals, this brings more competition in game and makes the game even less boring( not saying that mu online is a boring game but you know what i mean).
But when i see that the battles are taking place on the forum instead of in the game, makes me wonder if this occurs when a part fells that is loosing field on one part and tries to recover it on the other part.
I am not planning to transform this topic in a fight between the parts but i am trying to make all to have a civilized debate on this matter.

So what do you say? Can the players be more friendly in game with each other even if they are from opposite parts?

I can say that since i stated playing i made a lot of friends even from so called "rival" ally. And also for me everyone is a punk

so many rivalries i have seen in this game, even in the forum there is battle.
some players take it personally and not having fun anymore.
before Deathrow vs Vetz, then came along pk4fun vs Vetz, and now there
are new alliances opposing them
its not really the NAME of the guild they hated but the players
who are destroying the name.

but the game will not be balanced if there is no good and bad

I suppose that you are right when you are saying that players are taking the things personally and the question is : Can you remain detached from those "Things" and see only the fun part while spending sometimes even 24/7 online?

Can be this one Ally vs another Ally a gentlemen rivalry where the argue is settled only in game? Can even this rivalry be used in making the game more fun? Example: A soccer game? a War? (we are talking about Allies/Guilds as a total and not about certain players, the players can duel until blood comes out from fingers from pressing QQQ ) Instead of insulting and posting?

 

less talk, just duel. no trash talk no swearing.
no personal issues attached, just enjoy the battle.
if they can do that, then its much better.

but i'm friends with most of my "rival alliance"
and they seem to be fine with it

 

We'll do it Alecs... Like the old time with Duke, Aka , Palos and many others at Deep.

I remember when i was a punk, not a moderator or a gm, and i had like 4 bans in 2 months from unsporty fighting.(in 2007, A$II vs. old DarkSide guild, when i was a simple DarkSide naab memeber )
