Solved Game CLient closes right after log in

    Hello , as the title says , game crashes.
    i deleted all Mu clients and files from my pc ( 4 different mu online) everything is gone ...
    i started playing today with my buddy and i got to lvl 120 and about 1-2 hrs ago it just kept crashing .
    i re downloaded game 4-5 times . i turned off/on firewall ( i dont have antivirus ) i also tried FireFox/ Eternet explorer and chrome .
    all my drivers are up to date . all files are downloaded the game is installed on my desktop .
    i have windows 7 , never had this issue with any Mu server only this one today.( i also start as admin )
    now what i noticed is , as soon as the Client launches a new File appears in where the game is downloaded called , " MuError" it wasnt there when i re downloaded game.
    so i delete it and it appears again . at this point im pretty frustrated i have tried everything!

    If you played other mu servers then you should be aware that some people might got a similar problem to yours that they didn't experienced with us or other servers before. Any mu server and mainly any game not just mu may cause running app problems for some gamers. It's a known fact that installing multiple clients, games and so on may interfere with other applications and registry files at some point.

    So the game closes right after login?
    1. Did you turned DEP on for windows services only and restarted your computer after that?
    2. Are you running a desktop pc or laptop?
    3. Browse your client folder, go to MuGuard folder and see if there is a llahlog.dat file there and if it is then open a new conversation with me and send it there.

    You can ignore that muerror file, it comes with every mu client and it's not the cause of your issue as it will appear regardless if the client works fine or not.

    True, however i did delete all remaining files and mu from desktop and also no other app is running .
    it used to dc right after i log in , now after changing the DEP it crashes right after client opens up .

    i will check the Muguard folder right now after the game downloaded again lol

    You don't have to download the game again but if you already did try extracting it in D:\ or something instead of desktop as some some windows protections such as UAC or defender essentials are adding lots of restrictions for C:\ . Show me your DEP setting, dep itself can be weird sometime and reverting a setting followed by another restart may just make it work correctly.

    ok , now its completly gone south .,... when i click on either main or mu it says main has stoped working close program .
    geez..

    okay , so for the DEP i did Turn on DEP and selected both of the .exe
    i have also tried with Turn on dep for essential windows only and restarted windows.
    i will try re installing the game in D now.

    i did touch the DEP again and now the client opend up and my firewall asked me if i want to allow access i pressed YES!!!! and when the server select screened appeared it instantly closed on its own . Grr T_T
    now re installing it into D:

    Also i went to the Guard folder as you said and i deleted that file , i was able to log into my char and into the game and literately 5 sec after that it dc again ,
    aah i feel like we almost got it .

    I thought you said the firewall was set to off, and have you tried to run the game again after you hit yes? Go ahead and see if Windows Defender is turned off or on, if it's on set it to off. Leave DEP set to windows services only as shown into the short guide from our downloads page.

    like i said i tried a lot of different ways firewall on/off doesnt make a differents
    i dont have windows defender to off yet i will get into that now.
    Look , i noticed something strange , when i delete llahlog.dat i am able to log into my char and be in game for about 5 sec before it kicks me out then i go back to the Mugaurd folder and the stupid llahlog is there again , what are your thoughts now ?

    defender off, firewall off , still no luck ,. right now i have no clue what else i can do ,. i even installed game on a flash drive lol
    i have no programs on no apps , nothing is running

    Use the edit feature that the forum provides you with and don't double post. That file is a log file, it's normal for it to appear again as it provides info on what went wrong which is why I told you to send it to me. Go ahead and pm me your skype id (if you don't have a skype id, register one) so I can assist you remotely.

    Solved, a rootkit suspicious application (now deleted) was running in backgroud while being injected into multiple windows services and other processes, mu included.
