I surely do not hope the server will get wiped. It will ruin the concept Seph was trying to make: A good, stable and reliable server that goes on for ever- which means no wipes - which means players will trust the server and hopefully stay.

 

i agree with you even though , i havent played here. all i want is bigger rates and more people. and as i know alot of exe items drops here? why not decrease exe item drop rate for examaple
Bok+1 60% exc item , 20%zen , 20% non exc item
Bok+2 50% exc item , 25%zen , 25% non exc item
Bok+3 40% exc item , 30%zen , 30% non exc item
Bok+4 30% exc item , 35%zen , 35% non exc item
Bok+5 20% exc item , 40%zen , 40% non exc item

what do you guys think aboout that? this would make exe items more rare.

 

As you say, you haven't played here. Try hunting and you will realize that the exc drops is even lower than that. The only reason it seems flooded is because its about 5-6 people who hunt it all during the 4-5 months the server has been online! So the rates you are suggesting is going to increase it. But by all means, I do not dissagree with you! I hate hunting 15 BOK and getting just zen!

The only source of exc items here is the golden invasion which is 2x a day. Now let me do the math for you: If you kill all bosses(ignoring BOK+1,2) you can end up with 10x+1,2,3 from 2 dragons;3x+3 from tantalos,golem,crust;1x+4 from satyros and 5x+4/5 from great dragon(if he doesnt spawn in raklion...noone LVL 400 yet). So that makes maximum 19 BOKs. You might me right...the overflood comes from BOK+1 and +2=useless items mostly for NPC or HRS. The only thing worth picking from +3 for me is black rose+L and i get about 1/month if im lucky!!!(that includes all players giving/selling it to me since im the only summoner here).Rest of BOK+3 items are not really usefull to anyone. As we get to BOK+4 and +5 the story is different...the rates are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO low that out of possible 12 BOKs a day you get 1 item/week...again if you are lucky. And there is nothing more frustrating than spending 20-40 minutes 2x a day killing GD (he is tough...only 4-5 chars on server can actually stand its 1K dmg) and then droping 40K,40K,40K,50K,50K...

So please lets leave out wiping and lowering BOK rates(in your case increasingo-lowering). Rest of your suggestions were quite close to mine and i fully agree with them. GL

 

well i just read it few pages above in this thread that exc items was owerflooded. but as you explained how it is i think drop is ok. what about jewel drops here? my fiend played here last month he said he didnt even saw a person with +9 or so set. and he reached like 150lvl.

+9 sets and above are easily obtainable through hearts,medales,firecrackers. And if you want jewels you can go to CC or they ocassionally drop from box of heaven or mobs themselves. For example my summoner has 4 parts Exc Black Rose+13+L and armor+11, staff+11,book+13 and lots of spare +11-+13 black rose items(but then again i do about 4 CCs a day). Plus you can buy a box for every 30h online which drops Bless,Soul or chaos. So i wouldnt say there is a real shortage of jewels. Who cares-has. Important is that you dont sit nonstop afk because jewels wont keep appearing in your inventory...


So...on topic. SephiroTH, i think you got now opinions of all the players (even nonplayers). The only one left is bandzior who has been M.I.A. for the last 5 days and he rarely visits the forum. Any conclusions?

Yeah...I just got from work, 7 hours after invasion and to my surprise all goldens still intact. There used to be PK was about goldens and they were all dead...now its just me and Kratos left+some ocassional "2 day noobs" who find out "master no give items,master no give pt" and they are gone. Yesterday another good player left the server with words "i go look for another server".
Everyone has given up hopes on this server and those who still try to keep it alive get abused by GM for reporting bugs and complayning about lags...you can ban me for my honesty again SephiroTH and best would be if you would just close the server down and end this torment for good...

 

so how is the work on the update going? need some testers?

 

sounds good to me...
illusion temple can remain unchanged since noone ever plays it yet. maybe if you get a bigger comunity who will request it, but personally i think that event is quite useless when you have invasion and CC.

why the xp for married people?... just make 5x for everyone... none of my friends play muonline , and i'm not planning to play more than 1-2 hours a day, and im not able to run 2 clients, what should i do now ? just level up with lower xp when evryone else got higher?

 

i was always pro reset stats. Especially since the LVLing is so slow it is a pain to start again if you make a mistake in the build or wanna try an alternative when you get stuck at some point and cant progress further in hunting higher mobs. Unfair towards people who worked hard on ASMs and EBKs but there are not that many of those.

 

i made a suggestion about this before...and was shot down by avalon and a few others...

but i am up for a reset stats module

 

it could be seen like he said...or like you said it would bring more elves (ae or ee or some other weird build) and even if it is 1 account and 2 players it will look more populated and people would want to join ... which will increase chances of getting people to stay here...so i would say stick with marriage bonus...

will the marriage commands work with update also?
