    thanks for the support guys, i'm doing the final preparations as i'm still waiting to test a part with few players and not myself after i get a fixed db file tonight from the rmst leader. Even the files i've payed for are now free released on rz we still do get priority of fix list and custom configurations so it's good especially since i'm getting the updates for free now


    Also, one of the my stomatology exams worked really fine and the pacient declared itself satisfied with my work and ofc i was happy to give someone the opportunity to have a perfect smile

    Does that mean the update was applied to BlizzardMU? or was the downtime just a side effect of a different server update?
    Can we get some detailed info on what was actually updated?

    they were updating some of the servers that the run the different games on...so thats what caused blizz to be down for awhile...and as far as i can see no update for blizz was applied

    i've announced that in the maintenance thread, OS updates were applied and i'm already thinking on switching to w 2008 server but i still need to find out all it's tricks and till now the os is lovely

    3 servers are scheduled for the os upgrades but this doesn't include the machine where blizzardmu is hosted.

    Look...can i not ask a simple question without being flamed anymore?!

    @SephiroTH - Look at your first post in the maintenance...there is no mention about "OS updating" and i posted my question before the other post was added, so how was i supposed to know that?

    @Wasabi - I was asking about NEWS not QUOTATION of a 3 days old post, so please dont flame me. There were some talks about stuff happening during the weekend so i just wanted to find out the progress of things... :(

    sephi we need an update in order to attract new players...with bugged events there is no point to stay on server but to just level now...and well autoloot if you want because even if someone gets reported for it 2 times they don't receive a ban...but yet diablomu you'll get ban on 2nd report...just because we have less players then there doesn't mean that we shouldn't ... let me rephrase...you should be following your own rules for the server and not just pushing punishments away...because it then seems like you are letting anything go...and who cares if we lose players because of it...you stated in a report for diablomu today that you don't like cheaters and if you wanted to cheat that they should find another server!! you are setting a double standard here...not banning on 1 server but banning on the other? what makes it different?? (besides the number of people online)...answer: nothing...except for the "updated bot guard" and thats why we won't ban here...what a joke

    my opinion:

    1: update the server with the update you have been promising with the fixed events...etc

    2: don't set double standards by banning on 1 server you run and not the other...you need to keep it consistent across the board....no matter what!

    without this...the server is going to fail...worse than it is already

    I agree with number 1. But on 2nd, why not just allow looter since I know several people has been using it and getting an advantage from it. Allow it so everyone can have that advantage, and allow a spin bot! This will keep players here. Some of the new players here struggle to get even an autobuffer that works here! Release one that works! For christ sake! Do something!

    thats pretty much what i was saying about it avalon...if you (sephi) aren't going to ban for autoloot ... then just allow it...because from my reports it seems like you want to keep people here no matter what...so just allow it ... instead of making excuses as to why these people won't get banned...
