sorry guys but in this case i dare to strongly dissagree with any wipse/increases. This server was meant to be GMO like and there are no others like it. Global was also not populated in 1 day. 3-4 months in a life of such server is nothing and people like Mounch and Zabuza prove that its never too late to catch up with the stronger ones. It just requires patience. I think its easy to find a 20x server. But for gods sake dont do any resets here! i dont want to get even 100pts/reset. That would bring another problem with adjusting the mobs and drops. Otherways well just sit in noria feeding the goblin with +13 items. i joined here after leaving GMO so i was happy that there is at least 1 server without resets. MU was never meant to have resets. Wait for new updates....season 5 and 6 bring changes to master LVL and new quests so there will be always something to do. But im more of a PVM player so i dont need any competition or look at how far im in the rankings. I just want to hunt for my items and destroy them in CM and then curse...

 

I am so happy to see Sepiroth is finally using ration , apparently now auto-loot is neutral , and phew i was banned countless time . Long-term - wipe it.
I swear if you make the server 10-15 exp , default spots , wiped , you can make the Elite-Avanta bot work (i tried to crack blizzard main , but -.-'' ) i know around 5-10 people that will join .
And i'll donate again so we may have serious trouble ^^.
Sephiroth maybe it's a good ideea to launch a test server so we can test bugs out. Either way your decesion . Good to see a revolution .

 

Another thing that I saw Tom already mentioned, was decreasing the amount of excellent items. Now Golden Dragon drops 5 boks, and the Golden Great Dragon drops 5 boks aswell, this isn't a good thing.

Most people here are using excellent sets, so not many even bothers to hunt. Why would they? Better to go goldens every 12h and get uber items. "Hardcore" players don't want high amound, and high level of excellent items. (Excellent Dark Phoenix, 380 sets etc). It ruins balance.

Change BoKs to normal, +1 = goblin, +2= titan, +3 = dragon, +4 = lizzard and +5 = tantalos, Highest excellent from BoK Dragon/Legendary and so forth.

This will make it all way more balanced (Imagine a strength/vit bk at 400 with excellent 380 set +dd+dd(joh)+hp. Rare, but possible.)

 

The wipe is not really needed, because its very hard to level and gain items so, those people like Avalon who are 360+ they gave alot of time and effort to get to that level. Even better as a EE. This staff needs to focus more on this game, Even hire new coders who know what they are doing ... because there is nothing worse than false advertising. And Seph, I know your a very busy man but when you "fix" something you should test it not just tell us that in the config files is "changed", because that just shows us that these files are bugged.


My point is that 60% of the stuff advertised doesn't work properly

 

like the pk drop...just tested...and look what can drop...


so in other words...everything in game is droppable and the change to turn it off in the one update...doesn't mean anything...

things need to be actually turned off like they are said to be

bugged events and such need to be unbugged

and overall server needs a revamp to attract more players...


It doesn't help when newcomers join in game and see only myself active during non golden or cc events...and then come forum and see this stuff so please sephi you need to fix the bugs and revamp the server...

@FATE come out of LOT and help the newcomers...we need to show that the server is active and by you guys sitting in there it doesn't help out either...

i don't know if it is a bug or if it just happened to me...but i killed white wiz and didn't get the 5 coins like i should have first screen showing that i should have got 5 and then the 2nd showing i am at 0 coins...





just another thing that'll get put on the "to-fix" list for the server


@FATE or whomever else is active here/in game...wanna take some time and get a list of what needs to/should be fixed about server so we can keep it in one place for whats going wrong?

 

Yes it is , because Blizzard Mu didn't have a proper approach towards players.
This is what the majority of players want.

Blizzard Mu , (Avanta / Elite bot by Kalin works ) 5-10 exp ( 10 xp max ! including seals ) , semi-good / low drop rates since there is looting allowed.
Now ADD That type of server on ragezone and you got a lot of players .

I won't comment on the admins behavior towards some players , but i admit i was acting like a jackass! and also where all the replies i got from administration , Mithrealis filled the last straw ( "I will not be doing this again" - like he's got something better to do as a MM ) .

Get a new crew , maybe Stop posting sephiroth on the new server, let the players do the talking and you just take action .

Either way , new fresh server = new donation for the same thing again ^^.

And the levels are so easy to make , my character PureSoul is still in the top 15 chars and i have not been playing for over a month .

Now we have a strong base , we know what we want . "The Polish" Oo )

 

Btw. Your player is in the top 15 because of the inactivity in the server. Of course adding more exp will get more people, but it's not what interests the hard core player. But then again.. There seems to only be a few of those. I'm just contradicting myself here.. So I'll just be quite for the time being. I have not chosen a side in this argument but I am listening very throughly.

My 2cents is that ... this server needs to fix the bugs and problems before doing a wipe. If we wipe there will still be the same issues , so just try your best to fix all the problems posted in this thread and lets take it from there without a wipe, thanks!

 

agreed...lets fix the bugs and test that for awhile and see if we can get new players...if not then we should do wipe and relaunch the server

 

Wrong , you haven't gotten new players mostly at all, one thing that happened was that players left this server due to the lack of PROPER communication with the administration , which i have never seen in my life dismissing their players options .
Sure the rates rock , blah blah , but i personally don't mind playing a hard core 10 exp server just to attract new players.
And if any of you mind , you got issues. This time make it the way PLAYERS - THE MAJORITY - BOTERS - AFK-ers - AUTO LOOTERS !!! - Lazy people want it. And you will come online every now and then and see a HUGE community , something amazing , do the opposite of GLOBAL . But keep low rates !

 

I like the initiative with this thread. And I agree with most of what's been said here.
But to me, it looks like Sephiroth has left this thread, and it now remains as a 1-sided discussion between the remaining players.
Yes, REMAINING players; because if this continues the few that still plays here will leave. Including me and probably the rest of FATE.

What about archer it was working fine for days until last reset now it cannot open again , also I like the marriage idea

I think the formula should be 3x + (6x seal ) Unmarried
6x + ( 6x seal ) Married , because 6+12 = 18 and I think that's way too much

 

I think he means +seal = 6x, and with seal and marriage its doubled again to 12x.
To be honest I think its too much. Maybe a marriage should raise xp with 3x. So that no seal players get 6x and players with seal gets 9x. And not a % rate more ^^
