Clarification about looting bot

This is posted on main site and i understand why you don't want the auto looting clicker but i was wondering if we can only use the clicker that is in the folder or if it was okay to use a clicker that doesn't auto loot...

but allows for spin killing on dl or ae or sm ice storm?

is that allowed?

 

Of course you are not allowed to use spin clicker. Read the rules!!!

 

i did read the rules...and it says what you posted...but why can't we use a spin killing bot for ice storm or dl killing or ae...

for me it is hard to afk in cage because i get d/c within hour cause of server lag and ES...and also s4 many people used the spin bot and didn't cause any problems...

and really the rules state that you'll get banned for using autoloot bots...not spin bots ...

so i guess until the rule is changed...they are legal...

the "may use only autoclicker from client folder" doesn't mean if we don't use that one we get banned...because you guys say in the rules that only autolooters are punishable ...

so as long as i don't autoloot i don't see a problem with using a spin clicker...

Please let me know why we can't use spin clicker besides saying "You may use only the autoclicker from DiabloMu.com client folder" because there shouldn't be a problem as long as there isn't a autoloot along with the clicker...

you are wrong here...those who were caught using spin clicker on s4 were banned...if u remember entrance in arena cage was forbiden without using a SM

Why u cant use spin clicker?

Because most of spin clicker comes with autoloot clicker and for those lame players the temptation is too high to not use autoloot.

 

so we arent allowed to use spin clicker coz there are some people who abuse the system?there will ALWAYS be people who abuse the system no matter how much you try to stop or/and perevent it.
therefore its not a valid reason.

 

and so because of the temptation to use the autoloot we can't...and just because some abuse the system...doesn't mean all do

just because of the few that use autoloot with the spin clicker means that all can't use it because of the likelihood of the autoloot to be used with it?

and if i remember right...s4: Me, Godrix, Dangerus and a couple other sm/dl or ae used the spin bots while a gm was moving some afk player away from spot for a full party...so whichever gm it was knew that we used those but never said anything...

and going along with kramer...why is it that spin bots can't be used? because of the slight possibility that someone will abuse the system by using an autoloot spinclicker?

 

The use of any type of clicker that does anything else than left click or right click is PROHIBITED.

The rule is simple, exceptions are not permitted.

Other clickers are not allowed.

Lol there are simple 360 degree spinners without integrated autoloot.. One should be put in client folder and make it the legitimate one.

 

agreed...although the reason they probably don't do that "King Lazy" (Aaape) is so that it makes it more difficult for characters... just a guess...but yeah there are simple 360 clickers out there without a autoloot in the clicker...

 

Are we allowed to use another auto-clicker which has other features, but only use the click function?

I have a basic clicker but it isn't reliable and sometimes stops, but the more full-featured one is more reliable even when I just use the click function.

I know everyone keeps saying to use the "Official clicker" but I've tried everything I can think of and it simply does not work. I can open the clicker, but I can never get it to start clicking. I am running Windows 7 x64 on an administrator account and running both MU and the clicker with right click> open as admin. Nothing is working. I can play the game fine, but that clicker does nothing at all. Not even one click no matter how many times I press or hold F8 or F9.

EDIT - problem solved: For anyone else who has the same problem as me, to use the Diablo MU clicker on windows 7 you must use troubleshoot compatibility -> Windows XP Sp2 on the clicker file. It should then run just fine.

 

Of course the DiabloMu clicker works, It was obvious to use compatibility mode for winXP sp2 and if that dosnt do the trick simply check the "Run as Admin"feature as well.

Spinners are not allowed because it makes playing too much easyer for other characters and not everyone knows about them

 

it doesn't make it easier...it allows players to go train in spots (arena cages) when they normally wouldn't...

and yeah there are people that don't know of them...that is why aaape and I suggested to make another official "spin clicker" and that way everyone has access to it...

 

To my opinion "gadgets" and "clickers" along with any other application like that, which was created LONG AFTER the MuOnline clicker.....is a cheat for me.

And if theres one thing i cant stand in MU, its hackers and cheaters.
Even Aaape used an auto combo or auto healing something somewhere in DiabloMu Season 2-3 at some Castle Sieges.

Any other thing except the original clicker is a cheat for me in MU.

 

On-topic:
AFKing really is what people do 80% of the time when they're leveling. Prohibiting the usage of simple training tools is like telling people not to breathe, lulz.
Spin-tool in specific is such tool that I can't see too much of harm having put one in the client folder as default AFK gadget.

Hard to find that convincing really. There were never any proofs in logs or in pretty much anywhere. Neither SepH with his admin tools nor community with their suspicions could prove me being guilty of using any 3rd party tools Just because one has a gut feeling about someone using illegal tools doesn't mean it's true. I never did and never will use such tools

Using compatibility mode isn't all that obvious, really. Not for something as simple as an auto-clicker. How hard can it be to get it to work under default settings in Win7?

 

i agree with you spud...but lets get back on topic of why they (DGN Team) put in a simple spin clicker that is official for AE, DL, SM, MG to afk in arena cage and kill while spinning...there are like Aaape said many simple 360 spin bots out there...if you want i can go find one and post a link here so that we can update the client with this simple 360 non-autolooting 360 clicker

 

DiabloMU's own clicker is good and i hate looters with looting clickers...
spin-clickers make lagg... coz they do it for hours...

 

how do spin-clickers make lagg? i've used one before and never experienced lag and also have been in a party where someone was using it...same no lag...i'm not saying anything bad about the DiabloMu clicker but for people who make AE/DL/MG only can train in certain areas solo...and since not many are partying in game right now when i'm on (it may just be me) but allowing a spin bot for these people to train will allow them to level and reset and then help the new people who are joining our server...
