Very bad language should be punished even is PM?

no...what can be consided "very bad" and how much is too much...1 word, 2 words couple sentences or what? and would it be same punishment as normal language ban

 

Just admins can say how much is too much and punishment

 

so PM its PM and can be used to any discussion good or bad language or abolish PM ingame

 

The real issue is that it's not actually posted in the rules, but the head admin says using foul language that would normally get a player banned using any other of form (Global / Guild / Party / All Chat) isn't punishable in whispers because they can be turned off. Well Myself and most guild masters can't turn off our whispers because it's the main way we communicate with other players. So why is it acceptable to swear insult and in general break most of our other rules because it's a whisper? Since it seems to be the new fad for people to use absolutely horrible language and insults but then say it's a pm so they can't be punished. Finding loopholes in the rules is not an excuse to break them.

A Discussion isn't the problem, I've used swears when with friends too, it's part of our culture and helps get points across. The problem is when people are using swears as insults and being belligerent but claiming safety because it was a PM. If you don't know if someone will take offense to your swearing or insults just don't talk / swear to them and we won't have to decide what is a small offense or a long ban... Keep in mind you never know when someone is making an in-game movie or taking Screenshots.

Except bad language on GMs. They should deserve at least a little respect.

 

I feel swearing isn't a big deal myself, but it's in the rules so players who are offended or want to get someone in trouble have the right to make a report on it. I don't blame people for making some of the reports since not even I would tolerate another person using that type of language to me. eace:

Every player what using bad words must be banned (PM or no PM)... if something he dont like will choose to swich server,go away from enemy ... and not to use bad languege,bcz this are not the rules of this game are just rules in his real life.
If we respect people in real life ,we must respect other and here .

Now we have an answer, in the future try to play nice. If someone is sending you pm's that are offensive turn off your whispers for a while, if they continue to keep sending insults and offensive language depending on the severity action may be taken. Glad that's cleared up.

Bad words are just called by that adjective - bad. Meaning it is offensive, insulting, hurtful. If it is hurtful, offensive and insulting wither said out loud, written or whispered, they are still "bad words". However, there are far more better words to use in expressing yourself. Choose your words wisely, may it be in real life or in game.

Bad words in pm is directly insulting to the receiver because it is pmed intently to that person. If the purpose is to insult and berate me, then it is not acceptable to me. However in our age today, some words are twisted in meaning and intent. Some bad words are used jokingly among friends, or used as personal expression of feelings with no intent of offending others. Those kind of expressions are becoming part of our communication.

Bottom line is: what is the situation and what is the purpose of such words?

 

well my opinions is that words like jerk,trash ,pice of shit can be used only on pm...don't forget that the one who swears or curses doesn't do that for no reason...but swearing and cursing familly's...that's not cool..i don't agree with that eighter...is not your familly fault that you play MU or any familly member...this game would be nicer without so much swearing :thumbup1:

There's also the option of simply ignoring someone who is insulting you.

However... I think that repeated spamming ( no matter what words they use ) should receive some form of punishment. It's ok if someone sais to you "fu** y**", the line will simply go away, but if they say it (or anything else for that matter) 100 times, this prevents you from seeing maybe other important messages from others.
