Introduction:

Much time has passed since the millennia old Empire of MU lost complete and utter control over the Continent. Over time, the bloody feuds and civil wars destroyed and ravaged the once beautiful land of MU. Antonias, a feudal lord, overwrought with his burning ambition to control the land called MU was at once easily deceived by an evil sorcerer named Lemulia who through Antonia's obsession was able to bring Kundun, the Devil of Darkness, back to life. But who will take the task of sealing the demon Kundun and restoring the land to its once former beauty? Will it be YOU? The Devil of Darkness has already begun to take action to obliterate the Continent of MU. Receive thy Quest! Only the sword in your hand can banish Kundun and his evil minions once more.

Getting Started:

1. Installation: Download the MU Full Version installer/packed to computer. Run installer, Begin Installation, Review User Terms and Agreements, Install game, Run Game after 100% Complete.


2. Character Creation:
-. Dark Knight (DK)/ Blade Knight (BK)

*. Strength Knight - A Dark Knight that is trained to attack with Strength using the strongest weapons, uses his Strength to inflict as much Damage as possible.
*. Agility Knight - A Dark Knight that is trained more as a melee warrior. An Agility Knight can wield 1-handed swords with a shield in the other hand. They also have a higher Defense and Defense Rate, making himself a harder target for Enemies.
*. Vitality Knight - A Dark Knight that is trained to be able to take the most punishment with a higher HP count. Equipped with Healing Potions/Defense Buffs he is ideal to withstand the most Damage a Monster can dish out.

-. Dark Wizard (DW)/ Soul Master (SM)

*. Energy Wizard - Most Wizards can only be trained one way, increasing their Energy allows more powerful spells to be used inflicting greater Damage. Along with the increasing Energy, their total usable mana also increases allowing a wizard to repeat spells more frequently, than a Wizard who has invested a lot into STR or AGI.

-. Fairy Elf (Elf)/ Muse Elf (still an Elf… )

*. Energy Elf - A Fairy Elf that is more specifically geared to be the Support in the team. Using Defense buffs, Damage buffs, and Healing buffs allow your party to be more efficient. Focusing most of their STAT points into Energy; the Fairy Elf does not have high Defense or Strength and is usually found only in a Party.
*. Agility Elf - A Fairy Elf that is an Agility Elf uses Bows and Crossbows for ranged attacks. Usually high in Defense Rate, the Agility Elf is the ideal trainer and probably one of the most proficient Characters on MU.
*. Hybrid Elf - A Fairy Elf that is trained to have the Agility to use more than decent Bows and Crossbows, but also has enough Energy to buff themselves for Solo Training. Though their buffs are usually no where near as good as an Energy Elfs, a Hybrid Elf can support a party and also train on their own when a party is not available.

-. Magic Gladiator (MG)

*. Agility MG - Not Trained as much in Strength the Agility MG is made very similarly to that of the Agility Knight. Higher level weapons require the player to be evolved into the Blade Knight and so the MG cannot equip those higher level weapons.
*. Energy MG - Magic Gladiators can also use the Dark Wizard Spells (Not to be confused with Soul Master spells). Higher Energy means longer repeated spells and more damage per spell use, and is very valuable in a party.
*. Vitality MG - With enough Strength to wear strong armor the Vitality MG is made just like the Vitality Knight and serves the same purpose but is more beneficial due to the STAT point/level ratio the MG has.

-. Dark Lord

*. Command Dark Lord - Dark Lords with high command will be able to control the Dark Horse and Dark Raven; and use higher skills such as Summon or Critical Damage Increase. If their leadership skills are not high enough then their pets will not obey them. Also with higher command means higher leadership and the Dark Lord will be able to reach the maximum Guild Capacity of 80 members.
*. Battle Dark Lord - These Dark Lords have an abundance of strength with enough Energy to use the Fire Burst spell. These Battle Dark Lords are extremely strong and tend to have high Vitality too, to make up for his lack of defense. Battle Dark Lords are easily one of the strongest Characters in Global MU Online.

Command List
This is a window that is brought up by pressing "D" on the keyboard. It is an alternate way of using commands without typing /<command>. Just left click on command choice then right click on the player you wish to use it on.

• /Party: To set up a party
• /Guild: To join a guild
• /Trade: To start a trade
• /Request <On/Off>: Declines or accepts any request
• /Buy: Opens personal store
• /Duel: Begins/Ends a duel with opposing player

Part 2

Macros

Setting up a macros is like using Hot Keys. The player can set a sentence or command to any digit (0-9). To set the Macro the player must type "/ '#' " into the chat box, followed by its sentence or command.

ie. "/1 /warp lorencia", now the warp to Lorencia command is set to the number 1 macro.

To activate the Macro all the player must do is press ALT + the number the macro was set to. In the previous case ALT +1 would warp the player to Lorencia.

Party System

It may be fun to train on your own, but may be even more beneficial to train in a Party. Every now and then you will be asked if you want to join a Party.

Though not as much EXP is obtained when partied with higher members, the EXP is so much faster that should compensate for the drop in EXP. Also when higher level, it is to the player's advantage to help train the lower level characters. Higher level characters get a boost in experience when partied with lower level "noobs", and can also obtain another boost if one of the Three Main Characters (DK, DW, Elf) is in a party. There can be a MAX of 5 players in a single Party.

Trading System:

While playing Global MU Online, you as a player may want to make trade transactions and deals with other players. When this occurs you will be prompted to begin a trade, and select Yes/No. If Yes is selected, an inventory slot will open where you may trade items and zen between players.. Items for trade are up to the players discretion, but pleased be aware for trade scams, TRADE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Part 3

Jewels
There are 5 types of jewels :
1.Jewels of chaos
When using the chaos machine, you need to put one of these jewels in.

2.Jewels of creation
These jewels are used for trading, because they sell in shop for 12Milion zen.

3.Jewels of life
These jewels are used to upgrade a weapon or a part of set's option, so if the weapon has : "additional dmg : 4" if you use a jewel of life it will be 8.
Beware that, if your weapon doesn't have +luck you may fail and your item will drop to +0 level and option.

4.Jewels of bless
Jewels of bless are used on an item to bring its level up to +6.

5.Jewels of soul
Jewels of soul are used on an item to bring its level up to +9.

Making wings
1.Making a chaos weapon+4+option
**CLICK THE SECOND OPTION WHEN ENTERING CHAOS MACHINE**
Please keep in mind you can find these in Icarus instead of making them.

Put in the chaos machine :
- 1 Jewel of chaos
- Any item +skill+option+luck (drop some hearts of love)
Note : The more items you put in, the better the chaos weapon will be and the higher success rate you will get.

2.Making level 1 wings
**CLICK FIRST OPTION WHEN ENTERING CHAOS MACHINE**
Now you should have a chaos weapon+4+4(option).
Put in the chaos machine :
- 1 jewel of chaos
- 1 chaos weapon+4+4(option)
- More heart of love items +skill+option+luck to increase success rate.
Note : If you put LOADS of items in you can get wings with options and +luck which is good for making LVL2 wings.
Mix

3.1.Making a DL cape
**CLICK FIRST OPTION WHEN ENTERING CHAOS MACHINE**
Now you should level1 wings.
Put in the chaos machine :
- 1 jewel of chaos
- 1 lvl 1 wing
- 1 crest of monarch (from shop)
- exc items+4+4 to increase success rate
Note : The maximum success rate here is 90%, so you CAN fail.
Note2 :The more items you add in, the better the cape will be (+options)

3.2Making level2 wings

- 1 lvl 1 wing
- 1 lochs feather (find it)

Part 4

Quests and final details

The quest

MU isn't ONLY hack & slash, there is also a quest, to become a level 2 character.
Good things about becoming level 2 :
- You can wear more sets
- You get stats points at each stage of the process
- You can use more powers/attacks.

Characters who can do quest :
- Dark Knight ---> Blade Knight
- Dark Wizard ---> Soul Master
- Fairy Elf ---> Muse Elf

Quest Guide :

You need to be level 150.
First off, go to devias and find the quest lady, cords : 183 31.
Talk to her, she will tell you about MU's story, eventually she will tell you to find scroll of emperor.
Accept the quest and go to Dungeon 3 or Lost Tower 1, and go kill everything.
I found scroll of emperor in Dungeon 3.
Go talk to lady again, you will receive 10 stat points.
Talk to her again and she will talk about :
- Soul Shard Of Wizard for Dark Wizard quest.
- Broken Sword for Dark Knight quest.
- Tear of Elf for Fairy Elf quest.
Once done, accept the quest and go to Lost Tower 5, 6 or 7.
Any of those places will drop the quest item.
I found Soul Shard Of Wizard in Lost Tower 6.
When you have found it, scream : "HURRAY"
And then go talk to the quest lady again.
Congratulations, you are now a level 2 character

Reseting

Resetting is simple.
On this server you need to be level 400 and have 100Mil zen.
Go to the site, login, choose your character, click resets tab and click level reset.
Normally your character should drop to level 1.
Then, click the Stats Adder tab and add your first reset 500 points.
Every reset you will get 500 extra.
So first reset : 500 points
Second reset : 1000 points
Third reset : 1500 points
And so on.
Note : a Rena is sold in shop for 100Milion zen, the exact amount for a resetFind Rena's in Boxes of Heaven.

Excellent items

An excellent item is the same item, only better.
For example, a EXCELLENT Grand Viper staff will be better than a Gand Viper Staff.
But, a Grand Viper Staff+7 will be roughly the same as a Excellent Grand Viper Staff.

Events and GM events

Server events

Blood Castle

To enter blood castle you need an invisibility cloack, find a +7 in Lorencia.
To make one you need :
Blood bone+x
Scroll of Archangel+x
One jewel of chaos
Mix in chaos machine
Note : If your blood bone is+6, the scroll of archangel MUST be+6. And Vice versa.
To enter BC, talk to the messenger of Archangel in Davias church.

What to do in BC :

You will arrive in clear zone with ArchAngel soldiers and an ArchAngel laying on the floor (what a noob ).
Wait till BC starts and go blasting through the bridge, Aqua Beam on Dark Wizard or Soul Master is helpful.
There is monster kill-meter on the bottom right of your screen, kill the amount of monsters indicated.
Next, continue on the bridge until you arrive at the castle, break the door.
Kill the special mobs indicated.
Break the statue and grab the archangel weapon.
Now you ca freely kill and look for items until the time end.
Note : You dont need to do ArchAngel quest but you get zen and exp if you do.

Chaos Castle

Chaos Castle is a basic person kill event.
To enter you need to get the Armor Of Guardsman.
When you can enter, simply right click it.
When you are inside, you should be wearing an ArchAngel soldier set.
Tho your set defence is the same.
When it starts, just kill everyone and survive till the end.
Beware of the sides crumbling, as you can easily fall and you will lose event.
When event is over some bok+5 will drop in the center of the Castle.
Note : If there is a bug and you don't get bok+5, take a screenshot of your inventory and the center of the screen, we will gladly get them back for you.

Devil Square

Devil Square is another place to gain levels and find items.
Its easier then Blood Castle, since there is no quest to do.
Find/buy Devil eye+x and Devil Key+x.
And mix them together with a jewel of chaos in chaos machine.
Devil Eye and Key must be at the same level.
Once you have Devil invitaion (+1 +2 +3 or +4), find Charon in Noria. Cords : 172 105.
When Devil Square opens, go in and wait for it to start.
Depending on the level of Devil Square you will get different monsters.
Just kill kill kill till the end.

Gm events

H&S

H&S stands for Hide & Seek.
A GM (Game Master) will announce he is going to hide in a town.
You will have to find and trade him.
Be wary, he can be in walls, pillars, anything.
A GM has the power to warp anywhere, so look carefully.

Q&A

Q&A stands for Question & Answer.
A GM will ask a question, PM him as fast as you can with the answer.
The fastest Pmer with a good answer wins.

Find the set

A GM will announce the "Find the set" event.
Aim is to find as fast as you can the set the GM asked for.
Then find the GM and trade him your set against the prizes.

Shopping list event

A GM will announce a shopping list.
You have to find all the items on that list, find the GM and trade them to him.
