Cherry Blossom Mix Rate

Cherry boxes always dropped for everyone not for some people so everyone mixed items, just because some didn't succeed in mixing one doesn't mean it's unfair otherwise you would call the CM mixes unfair too. By default 3rd wings are being done at the CM (this is the main place to make them not cherry) and cherry mix has a very low rate on getting these NON-EXE only (keep in mid this event doesn't even work on most servers and ). It was the people (yes those who had no wings not those who had them already) that pointed out the rate was a bit too high and they were right, it has to be lower, the CM is a priority here. We never intended to make the cherry event a main option for obtaining wings and chance rate has been corrected since last week but a server reboot was needed for that to be effective and we already had a maintenance before correcting this so you quite some days to get a mix if you were lucky enough.

Also no one risks upgrading those wings, like couple people did already as I saw in logs and they were lost in CM mix so there is no unfair advantage here as a NON EXE simple 3rd lvl wing is slighty better than a 2nd wing, it's not the ultimate item in this game especially on a RR server and there aren't loads of wings as you would imply either. People already mixed 3rd wings on CM by going to the events being rewarded with condor flame and hunting for kundun, it doesn't take months to do that if you're active and we don't want people to mix wings on cherry instead of CM either as that would be insane and against the game purpose so if a rate is set too high or too low we have to correct it not to leave it like that until you'll get a wing too just to consider it fair. I can't see why this game has to be a drama all the time.

By the way, it's totally normal to make changes especially if they need to be corrected or adjusted, you can't have a perfect setting from day 1 and as always we aim for the long term run here.

For some reason being transparent with all changes and posting changelogs was never good for mu gamers and more servers seem to post only important server/client patches without any full details being attached, maybe they know something after all.

 

If we didn't considered this to be a good idea we would't have corrected it my friend but opinions and feedback could use slight different words so they won't sound like shouting or lecturing us like we are some sort of notorious guys that did something extremly bad because at some point that's how it sounds like and I'm sure that wasn't intended. As people pointed out by whispering us ingame, the rate was indeed too high than supposed considering that this event doesn't work on many servers and the fact that this is a rr server where we have spots and drop is quite high. I was inspired from official server (no spots there) by this setting where the rate is super rare and they made it like that for a reason. 3rd wings are ment to be made on CM alone but we decided to make this cherry event a bit more worthy (normally on cherry you get a lot of item fails, rarely exe items and even more rare the other rewards) with a better chance for exec items and the same rare chance for the wings but as I mentioned, you can't always nail the settings from the first time and adjustments need to be done over time to ensure ballance. Sorry for those who didn't succeded in a wing mix but it's just about luck like for any item mix and again there are just a few of these wings obtained from cherry and a non exe simple wing is not a big deal anyway on a RR server (it's useful on a non-rr server but this isn't the case) even useless if you already got several resets on your character and most of these wings if not all will fail anyway like they already did by trying to upgrade them plus this is not good for a low-medium long term run server as ours. People already got enough Resets to hunt for the ancient items, cc is running fine too and 3rd wings have been already created at the CM with exe options by others, condor flame and feathers are being sold too so you wouldn't have to wait months as you say to create wings (the normal mix) for sure, that could easily be achieved in a few days of hunting or even faster depending on your luck.
