   I don't remember if you have to fill a captcha when you register, but adding a captcha requirement for the first three post of every forum account would help prevent spam&advertising, I think...I hope.

   How do most forum handle spam bots? By moderating their members and accepting them manually.
   
   
   Bots got smarter these days so i think i'll re-add the minimum posts rule for posting a link
