Attacking through cage ["wall"]

So heres my question, I would love Gixx's answer.

Soo everytime I see Gunit on the dungeon2 spot, he is farming on the double cage spot, as u see on the screens. He is a DL and use fire burst skill, and he attack mobs with same skill all the time in both cages. When I first saw it, I said cool and mad DL... Till I noticed I cant hit the mobs from different cage, its like hitting through wall. I told about it my guold mate, and he said he tried it and cant do it too. I asked Gunit how he do it, but he tried to avoid my question. So I said if he dont answer me, I will ask here for help... And what is strange, he immediatly left the spot out there.

Can you tell me if its possible?

I think it should be more like report than discussion.

One more thing... When he was gone, I was standing on the right cords he always use to stay on... suddenly he appear on there and was standing near me and KSing, when I move out my cords, he immediatly changed his position to the exact coords as always, like he would use auto picker with coords or something... Just saying

 

How about the Fire Burst thing? You can make DL and try it out... if can kill mobs from the next cage [not being in]
