I have a problem

    Hi i have monstrual lags sometimes in maps: cs, swamp, some vulcanus. Lag is when im near other 1 player or more, in cs i if im near defending gate i can do anythink that lag have and count it 14 seconds, just come in gate -> lag 14 sec and have respawn. What problem? meybe not my 12/13 year pc rest s6 ep3 have problem only when 100 members enter in chamber, they are 3 servers here and meybe add more somethink ala plununguins.

    My friend , the lag you are describing is due to your lack of ram , or your graphic card is burned out or your processor can't handle it.

    I suggest a pc check up.

    if the above is true, perhaps you can try applying one of the anti lag patches included with the client download from the site

    You see 3 servers because the Login Server uses a separate dedicated machine.
    This has nothing to do with us and as James explained, this has to do with graphical lag which is totally different from the connection lag.

    We had a 3 minutes downtime today due to some issues with cisco routers.

    It looks like something is still going wrong because several players that are connected right now are experiencing quite a large lag time

    It's fixed now.
    The company had to upgrade the cisco router to fix that bug since a large attack went through by not being mitigated completly, but we're fine now.

    Sorry but some things are out of our own hands since we do not own the hosting company ourelves or the internet :)



    Anyway, this thread was opened for the graphical lag not because of connection issues so lets keep it this way.

    Strenge because other s6 ep3 have lagged only if i enter to chammber and really many people fight. Here i enter on gate see enemy gulid, have 15 second lags (sound enable) and have respawn. In swamp i have that same lags but quikness restore liquided in vulcanus at pk war situacion that same as cs, i think rf many lagged.

    If i remember here is now 3 servers on one machine called server as imageshack used server to get many photos when users added. I read main but i dont see nothink about problem in cs day. About next so what i use odles graphic drivers and game is normall working, if i remember after upgrade driver i have total lags.

    Gix told you that the servers share the same login and mssql database server and we are taling about a Dual Xeon E-5xx series, 128GB RAM, 10Gbps monster. The login server is what you see when you connect and after adding account+password, you are transferred to another machine (dedicated server) as we have more of them and all are working on clustering basis which I have set. Such monster hardware can support over 10.000 online players so this is not the case.

    As you describe it and as others told you, that is called graphical lag and is related two low hardware on your side and the way how MU was developed, using no OpenGL drivers or high resources for low graphic drivers, simillar to MineCraft game.

    If everything was fine for you a month ago let's say, then you might want to uninstall video drivers and reinstall them or do a fresh OS reinstall (only if you are sure the graphic card or the CPU are not the fauly components). A spyware or a malware may also cause such issues.

    You know i finish technical informatic and for make technical exam practic and long practical deleting malware used logs i know to dont reinstal system in any trifle, all u can do on spot without remove the top cover.

    I have Geforce2 mx/mx 400 64 mb ram and hd monitor in resolution 1280X720 its recomendal resolution, but i play on 1024X768 and 16 bits in cs etc i decrese glow to 5, driver version is 4.0.7.2 supported opengl. Last time i deleted malware manually, this malware have impact on using ram but without malware i have lags in battle.

    No, I don't think anyone here knew that you finished technical informatic, not to mentional that technical informatics and applied software one are totally different things
    So you had malware and you think you're done with it.
    Well good luck with that if you will base on that. Malwares cannot be deleted manually because you are not an antivirus or antimalware manufacturer. Not even top class manufacturers cannot remove completly some malwares so now my only advice is to format your whole computer (all partitions since the malware could go to any of it) and re-install OS. Save your data on USB storage space or CD's.


    You have multiple solutions that you may follow according to your choice.
