Starter Sets

I think it would help newcomers if the armor in the shop was +7+L instead of +0+4+L. It is difficult the first couple of resets especially when you spend most of your time trying to get into a reliable party. The amount of damage you take with a full +0 set and mini wings is pretty high even in lt7 / icarus where newbies level safely. Also before someone brings up you can multi client with an EE, have you tried to keep a 0 rr EE alive in icarus : )? This will not cause an imbalance since non-ex gear isn't used very long and can actually help new players to make chaos weapons for 1st wings, which in term increases the amount of 2nd wings.

P.S. I was fortunate enough to have friends from last season to help me through the first few resets, and even then it was difficult since players d/c or are afk a lot.

and actually make them and the weaps you can buy form store+9+12 and remove all the gear you can get from shops from medals

 

And then, all can make free level 1 wings with gear from shop, no thanks sir. All players have struggled with that +0 gear at the beginning, and no one had resets to help them.

 

Also everyone at the start partied each other because they had no choice. Now most prefer to solo again since it's faster and don't have to share loot. Don't be so greedy of how hard it was a few weeks ago when things are fresh because there is no economy set up. Last time the server was reset some things were added 2-4 weeks in that made the people from day 1 upset too, but it helped the community grow and everyone moved on.

 

You can get item+7-9 easily from medals. keep looking for them. it would be to easy, if they would do, what your asking.

Medals have a very good drop.

 

If you start by doing NPC Elf Buffer Quests, from 0 lvl, it will give you +7 and+8 set, along with a weapon and arround 2 mil zen and some jewels and chaos weapon for doing lvl1 wings , etc,etc. Have you ever try that?

 

I'm not sure why you keep telling me advice, I'm speaking for other new players...

 

Like other says medals drop is pretty good, also the new players can do easily those quests from Elf Buffer.

I see no point to add +7- +9 items in shop.

 

I didn't say anyone was complaining, and I didn't know about the elf soldier giving out items before this thread. However all I said was more defense would help new players, not that anyone deserved anything or was too hard to find.

eh... this Elf quest thing ... does that only work with lvl 1? i tried that when i was like lvl 300+ (didnt knew about it b4) .. and i didnt get any quest .. so what is the plan?
