Optymus retiring

As some of you may have heard some rumors about my retirement, today I confirm them.
I postponed this decision as much as I could but time has come for me to focus on my real life due to some major changes concerning work and private life. I will surely miss playing this wonderful game in this great community but most of all I will miss all my friends here. I thank you all for your support and the great time we had together, also I apologize for any unsuitable situation or attitude that I may have shown to any of the players here. I hope that maybe some day I could return and find the same wonderful community that this server has right now.

I hope that my presence here won't pass away unnoticed and I hope that I managed to imbue at least in the slightest way my values of Honor Dignity and Respect.
I hold no grudge and I have no regrets after all the time I played here.

About our Alliance, Coloseum Alliance, all this couldn't have been possible without the help and support of all my friends and all the members of our Alliance.
Despite all the fights, grudges, wars and misunderstandings that we encountered as an Alliance we stood united and loyal to eachother. I am proud of one more thing: the friendships that where borned and consolidated during this whole game. After all, the magic of this game is friends. I hope that my retirement won't disappoint any of my friends and I promise that we will keep in touch using the DiabloMU Forum.
I don't know how often I may be able to visit but I will try as often as I can.
Regarding the Alliance, I put all my trust on C3nt to continue what we managed to create here. Also I congratulate ArchKnight for building such a strong Alliance (SpartanS) and putting on some worthy battles for the DiabloMU Castle. Respect. (may the force be with you - as "boobies" said)

As most retiring players do, I should create a list of all my friends who I wish to thank but please don't get mad at me for not doing so. I managed to create bonds of friendship with almost all the players we have here so it would be impossible for me to write everyone's names. So in fewer words, RESPECT for all my friends. All of you know that I never discriminated nobody between allied or non-allied players (so for those who think opposite, Reunited and SpartanS Alliances really are my friends) and I hope that my example of diplomacy will be carried on by my friends and other players alike.

And finally congratulations to SephiroTH and all the Admin Team for creating such a great community, thank you for your support and understanding, DiabloMU is the greatest server that I have played on since I started 5 years ago. Keep up the good work guys and be proud of what you accomplished here. I am honored to be a member of your community.

I am sorry to hear that u are leavin us Opty but what ever is better for u.....its ok with me....and i respect everithing u did within this comunity....
U were a a good friend and still are, and a dificult oponent in castle siege....hope to see u again in game.....and good luck with everything u do in the real life...

Sometimes a short rest to replenish and regain your interest and passion for the game is good, which is the case for me...so i hope u will come back from your retirement asap

Thank you all for your good thoughts and kind words. I truly made lifetime friends here and I'll surely let you know when I'll become a father as dirty requested (imao). If wealth was measured by how many best friends one has, I could truly say that I am the wealthiest man on earth. May your lives be heaven my friends. Respect ! @ Optymus ... when alliance was still young i asked someone who Optymus is and they said GM OF ALLIANCE, my initial reaction was a very shallow "oh ok". I remember the time when you were offended by my boobies talk within the alliance But as the months went on i learned and found out who the real Optymus is, ur an arse opty, a real fine arse (in a good way). Seriously, your leadership and people skills are awesome. Some say that MU is just a game, yeah, it is, but the friends that you make is something that is real. And i'm glad to have met such a sincere and honest friend, Gabriel. Goodluck with your endeavors, for sure you'll succeed in both of them ( lovelife and business ). Regards to your GF...
